Not long ago I shared how to create an artificial blossom tree — and if you saw that video, you'll know those trees ended up as a gift for my friend Dianne, for the many functions she hosts in her Shed. (Named so because it was once a packing shed on their orchard — and it is absolutely wonderful.)
The pink blossom trees look stunning in the Shed, but the powder room floral needed updating to connect back into them. The timing couldn't be more perfect, because not only can I show how I did it — I can finally answer the many requests I've had for powder room floral inspiration.
A tip from me before you start: don't make your powder room arrangement too wide or too large unless you have generous space to work with. Small and tucked into a corner never fails to work a treat.
Oh — and I've used a floral mist on the finished arrangement, which gives off the most wonderful fragrance. Highly recommend tracking some down.
Things to gather:
A cut glass mosaic vase — mine has a lovely twinkly quality that catches the light beautifully
3 pink peony blooms
2 large pink hydrangea blooms
2 stems of pink blossom
Floral mist for fragrance — optional but wonderful
