Sometimes all you need is a bowl of beautiful flowers to finish off your room. To me, one of my favourites is a vase of white magnolias. They are stately and being one of the oldest flowers in the world need nothing but themselves to reign supremely.
You will need –
- A vase to suit. I paint finished mine black using my cheats easy peezy chalk paint.
Recipe – 1/3 cup plaster of Paris mixed with 1/3 cup water. Combine well then add to a cup of flat black acrylic paint. Apply two coats allowing too dry between coats.
- Several branches for permanent forever magnolias
- Optional: if you want to incorporate another bloom, I really love the creamy white peonies place low at the base of the design.
