Often I am asked, what is best to go with tulips? Especially the first of the season or those dear darling little miniature blooms. I reach for berries, mainly because of their size. They can visually extend the size of the design & to me they are the botanical worlds natural pearls. How often have you finished off an outfit with a classy string of pearls. They don’t take up much room, but offer a special lustre that never fails to enhance.

To the colour of the blue Wedgewood. That blue reminds me of the colour of the sky on a nice warm day. All flowers look great set up against that beautiful blue sky. So if you are stuck in whether what is a great coloured vase, that blue will be your friend.

Things to gather:
- Per vase, I used 5 tulip blooms,
- Several stems of deeper blue berries.
