Floristry Tutorial: Rustic Wedding Flowers into an Empty Olive Oil Tin

Channels / Flowers & Floristry Tutorials

This design is for Fenella from Spain who is getting married and has asked if I could demonstrate how to create informal flowers into tins for her wedding tables. She tells me the wedding supper will be outside under olives trees on her papa’s grove. It’s a late afternoon affair and she doesn’t want too much fuss, but it needs to look like a bit of effort has been applied.

NO PROBLEM Fenella, because I have your covered and you will love the combination of mixed coloured Asters, bubble flower or you could use rosemary, bay or whatever foliage is floating around the property – even olive would be fabulous!

Things to gather:
- A selection of empty olive oil cans.
- Aster flowers.
- Bubble flowers.
- Rosemary.
- Olive.
- Bay.

To keep it simple, everything being created will be as if just picked and placed into posies.

Daisies, yarrow, honesty with lavender could be wonderful combinations!
