If like me you don’t want a loud holiday Christmas statement, but a great base foundation in which to display other forms during the rest of the year, then you might love this!
A glass terrarium or oversized brandy balloon vase, is our start. Inside the brandy balloon place another smaller glass dish. I used an inverted glass dome. The base got broken, but I just knew if I waited long enough, I’d find another use. If not, a glass vase that fits easily down inside the brandy balloon will suffice.
As an aside, this is a foundation base I used often at my place to display plants, especially maiden hair ferns or other flowering plants.
To fill the cavity between the vase and glass inner, I use sheet moss or moss balls.
Once this is placed, now we can create something that says, the holidays or Christmas is here. Gather Christmas pixs, baubles and battery powdered lights!
