It’s hydrangea time in my garden and I must say - without upsetting the rest of the flowers - I love and adore these magnificent blooms. If you are creating a display and perhaps don’t have enough fresh, let me share what I do to fill out my design - simply reach for permanent or ‘forever’ blooms.
Things to gather:
- I used an old French urn
- a bucket big enough to fit inside cavity of urn
- Water to fill internal bucket
- As many fresh blooms as the garden will offer up,
- Artificial hydrangeas - I felt like pink, but nature only provided me with 2 – NOT nearly enough
to satisfy my desire!
