Floristry Design Tutorial: A Lesson on Visual Balance and Actual Balance

I have had lots of questions regarding this matter and have decided to provide a quick and easy lesson on how it actually works when it comes to creating a design that not only looks balanced but is balanced and doesn’t tip or fall over.

As a general rule, the flowers and foliage being placed into a container should be 1 ½ times the height or the width of the container – whichever is the greater.
